Jay Massirman
CEO, Massirman Group
Jay Massirman founded Massirman Group, a real estate investment firm in 2007, following his role as Vice Chairman, CB Richard Ellis where he worked since 1986. Throughout his tenure at CBRE, he participated in the sale and consulting assignment of over 277 investment properties including 75,800 + apartment units and numerous multi-family land transactions with a value in excess of over $9.37 billion.
His transaction experience includes portfolio, institutional, tax-exempt bonds, land sales as well as, debt and equity, and structured transactions. Jay was consistently one of the leading multi-family specialists for CBRE in Florida and Nationally.
Mr. Massirman received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Miami and is active throughout the national real estate and local civic communities.
Naphtali Rishe, PhD

Dr. Rishe's expertise is in the efficiency, flexibility, and intelligence of database systems (particularly of object-oriented, semantic, decision-support and spatial/geographic DBMS), distributed DBMS, database design tools, and Internet access to databases.
Rishe is the Author of 2 books on database design; Editor of 4 books on database management and high performance computing; Inventor of 4 U.S. patents on database querying, semantic database performance, Internet data extraction, and computer medicine; Author of over 200 papers in journals and proceedings on databases, software engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Internet, and life sciences; Awardee of over $30 million in research grants by Government and Industry, including NASA, NSF, IBM, DoI, USGS; Architect of major industrial projects -- both prior to his academic career, and as a consultant since; Mentor of 80 postdocs, PhD and MS; the Inaugural Outstanding University Professor of FIU.
Dr. Rishe received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and a M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from Israel Institute of Technology.
Michael J. Swerdlow

Under Mr. Swerdlow’s direction, Swerdlow Group is involved in a broad range of real estate ownership, development, management and leasing activities. Most recently Swerdlow Group sold their interest in over 8,000 luxury residential condominium units, including Biscayne Landing, a multi-billion dollar, 190-acre, mixed-use community in a public-private partnership with the City of North Miami, Marina Grande Riviera Beach, Marina Grande on the Halifax and 400 Beach Street. Swerdlow Group worked from 2001-2006 to acquire the land, obtain entitlements and secure financing for all of these projects.
Mr. Swerdlow is a world-class sailor, having been a member of two U.S. Admirals Cup teams and also holds two fly rod world records for bone fishing. |
